My Yoga Gear

Why I Yoga?

I started my yoga journey 6 years ago. When I discovered 30 Days Yoga with Adriene on Youtube. On day one I wasn't sure what I was doing I had a difficult relaxing and I even thought yoga was boring. I thought it's so easy I am just wasting my time. But I decide to stick with it, I came back to my mat the second day, and then before I knew it I was craving for a time I will get home, jump into something comfy and start my yoga session.

I couldn't believe how good yoga can make me feel. I started sleeping better, eating better, I started feeling healthier in general. It's also about discipline and self love. You have to trust the process and don't just focus on the results, but enjoy the beauty of yoga. The physical and mental aspects really had a profound effect on me.

I can't say enough about Yoga with Adriene, I loved the journey and I still follow her Youtube channel.

Yoga helps me to slow down and be present. I feel like nowadays when we have so much on our minds, we have our phones and jobs and tv shows to catch up with! :) We forget to pay attention to how we truly feel and where we are. I find my yoga mat to be my safe space. It's where I feel most relaxed, and sometimes I lose track of time while doing yoga, I surprise myself when I realize I spent almost 2 hours on my mat. But I guess it's my body telling me I need this. I need this time to let go of everything what's been bothering me, listen to my body, feel grounded and focused.

Yoga mat by Supported Soul

I've been trying to find a perfect yoga mat for myself for so long. I tried both cheap and expensive ones. And then one day I entered a giveaway on Instagram, and I won a yoga mat from Supported Soul.

Supported Soul sells limited edition, eco-friendly printed yoga mats and accessories designed in Vancouver, Canada. I have never seen more beautiful and more inviting yoga mat before. Honestly, I dare you to check out their website to see how beautiful their yoga mats are. But more important is that they are actually really good, I struggled to find a mat that would be easy to maintain clean (they are machine washable!), would have a great grip, and would be beautifully designed. All-in-one yoga mat is simply perfect and makes a great gift too.

Diffuser

I used to own one from Escents which I loved, and then one day my cat Nacho decided it's one of the things that shouldn't be placed on the table. The glass lid broke, so I needed to get a replacement asap. I used amazon prime same-day delivery and ordered a ASAKUKI diffuser for $40. I have no complaints about it. I have been using it for 2 years now.

I get diffuser blends from Saje. They have a yoga diffuser blend that contains PATCHOULI, NEROLI and ORANGE.

Blend Rolls by Ancient Mantra

Yoga Blend

I find myself using this not only prior to yoga or when I'm stressed, but just for the pleasure it gives me. The scent is definitely there, but not overwhelming, and it's absorbed quickly without leaving an oily trace behind. This one's a keeper! I reach for it often, and I recommend it.

The combination of the essential oils in this Yoga roll on blend is great for a strengthening yoga workout. It will also make you feel more grounded and helps you feel more at peace and focused.

Contains: 100% pure essential oils of Cedarwood, Frankinscense, Lemongrass, Ylang Ylang in Fractionated coconut oil.

Head Ease

What I love the most about this blend is the touch of eucalyptus. It reminds me of being in a spa.

This blend works for everything from tension headaches, sinus headaches. Just roll this all the way around your hairline when you feel a headache coming on. The essential oils in this roll on blend are pain relievers, anti-inflammatory, and calming.

It is made of 100% natural oils of Peppermint, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Roman Chamomile diluted in fractionated Coconut oil.

Anxiety Relief

Honestly, this blend is relief in a bottle. It has such a calming floral scent that carries away stress and anxiety like petals in the breeze. I could smell this all day long and still want more. I’m so glad I found this blend to gently nudge me forward in life during this chaotic time. It makes me feel at home. And that is something to treasure.

Anxiety Relief roll on blend is one of our best sellers. It really helps to calm you down and helps to think clearly. The oils we have used work together to help you relax and keep calm.

It is a blend of 100% natural essential oils of Lavender, Vetiver, Rose, Bergamot, Chamomile.

Spray for yoga mat by Beth and Olivia

NEROLI FLORAL WATER - Such a great find. I can't stop telling everyone about it. It is derived from orange blossoms giving it a scent of orange with a hint of jasmine. I fell in love with the smell. I use it to spray my yoga mat just before the work out. The pleasant smell lingers in the room even after the workout.

Gummy vitamins by Herbaland

I take BCAA gummies from Herbaland before my yoga workouts.

BCAA vitamins are so much easier than adding powder to your water. They are nutritious, vegan, and sugar free. You just take 8 gummies per day 45-90 minutes before exercising. and you're good to go! Easy as 1-2-3!

I love my yoga moments, and I mostly enjoy it doing it alone. I love taking my yoga mat outside, and connect with nature while practicing my yoga routine. Your mat is your yoga sanctuary. Take it with you, change your yoga environment, embrace the moment, open your heart up to the sky.

I would like to close this post with a mantra I learned from Adriene Mishler:

"Find what feels good."

I hope you all find what feels good.
